4 Tips On How To Solve Riddles On Murder And Escape

Solving riddles may not be easy but there is a guide to make it interesting for you.

Tips:

  1. Check if the criminal can escape safely. If not, find a clever way to escape.
  2. When choosing which door is safe, check if the situation behind the door is really dangerous.
  3. When choosing a killer, check who among the suspects is not telling the truth.
  4. Find a way to read or decode a clue.

Now let us study the following riddles:

First Riddle

The first riddle is about a terrorist who took over a plane and demanded money and two parachutes.

The question is why did he need two parachutes instead of only one.

Based on tip number one, we can see that the terrorist can escape only by jumping off the plane with a parachute. But how can the terrorist make sure that he would be able to land safely by means of a parachute? Because most criminals do not trust policemen, he demanded two parachutes to make the policemen think that he will jump with a hostage thus avoiding the possibility of damaging his parachute. That is the reason why he demanded two parachutes.

Second Riddle

The second riddle is about which door is safe.

The first door has a killer inside with a gun. The second door has a lion inside who has not eaten for three years. The third door has a massive fire inside.

Based on tip number two, we will now see which door is not dangerous.

The answer is door number two because the lion is already dead if he has not eaten for three years.

Third Riddle

The third riddle is about a man who was found dead and buried outside the house on Sunday afternoon.

The question is who are the two killers?

Based on tip number three, the wife and the cook were not telling the truth because both of them mentioned the word breakfast which could not be true in the afternoon.

Fourth Riddle

The fourth riddle is about choosing three doors to escape.

The first door has liquid nitrogen that will freeze you. The second door has 1830 degree Fahrenheit flame. The third door has a serial killer who killed three hundred people in 1890.

Based on tip number two, door number three is not dangerous because the killer is already dead if he murdered three hundred people in 1890.

Fifth Riddle

The fifth riddle is about a wife who was missing.

When questioned by the police, the husband said that he saw his wife having breakfast but when he came back at 5:00pm in the afternoon, she was gone but not the breakfast.

The basis for this riddle is tip number three. The husband is not telling the truth because the policeman saw the breakfast was still hot. It was a set up.

Sixth Riddle

The sixth riddle is about a woman who can not sleep in her hotel room. After a few hours she made a phone call but said nothing and hanged up.

The question is who did she call.

The basis for this riddle is tip number one. We must find a clever way to “escape”. The only way for the woman to rest is to stop the noise. Apparently, she did not call the policemen because she did not speak. She stopped the noise by letting the phone rang continuously to make the snoring man wake up.

Seventh Riddle

The seventh riddle is about a man who was found dead in his room.

The question is who killed the man.

Based on tip number three, we will now try to find out who is not telling the truth.

Among the four suspects, only Sophia was the one who was telling that it was not dark in the room. The other three almost collaborated in their statements that it was dark because they need to turn on the light.

Eighth Riddle

The eighthriddle is about a criminal who somewhat disappeared on the shore of a deep and rapid river.

The investigators questioned three suspects on the shore who answered that the real criminal jumped off the river and swam across the shore.

The basis for this riddle is tip number three. The three suspects was telling a lie because it is almost impossible to swim in a deep and rapid river.

Ninth Riddle

The ninth riddle is about a missing detective who left a code which tells who the criminal is.

The special code is  710 57735 34 5508 51 7718.

The question is who is the criminal: Is it John, Bill, or Adam.

Based on tip number four, we can decode this number by inverting it which almost reads like this:

BILL IS BOSS HE SELLS OIL

Therefore, the killer is Bill.

Hope you have some fun.
